NAMM 2017: Dubreq to unveil new Stylophone Gen X-1

Dubreq, the company behind the original 1968 Stylophone has announced the Stylophone Gen X-1, a new version of the classic synth that adds features not found on the original model… 

Dubreq tell us that the Gen X-1 allows users to create more complex sounds than the original. The new version features controls for attack, decay, a delay section and a filter, as well as two sub octaves and an LFO with a square and triangle waves. Just like its predecessor the Gen X-1 will have a built-in speaker and can be powered by batteries and still requires a stylus to play.

There are no details on price or a release date, however it will be making an appearance at next week’s NAMM show in California so watch this space for further details.For more information go to their website here.
