Stylophone Gen X-1

Dubreq, the company behind the original 1968 Stylophone has announced the Stylophone Gen X-1, a new version of the classic synth that adds features not found on the original model…

Stylophone Gen X-1

Dubreq tell us that the Gen X-1 allows users to create more complex sounds than the original. The new version features controls for attack, decay, a delay section and a filter, as well as two sub octaves and an LFO with a square and triangle waves. Just like its predecessor the Gen X-1 will have a built-in speaker and can be powered by batteries and still requires a stylus to play.

There are no details on price or a release date, however it will be making an appearance at next week’s NAMM show in California so watch this space for further details. For more information go to their website here.
