Spotify Wrapped 2021 is out and here’s how you can access yours

It is that time of the year again. Spotify has unveiled its highly anticipated Spotify Wrapped 2021 along with some new features. Read on to find out how you can access yours.
Every year since 2016, the streaming giant gives its listeners a personal summary of their listening habits through Wrapped. This year, Wrapped introduces a new feature called Wrapped Blend, which allows users to compare their Wrapped playlist with a friend’s to see how their musical taste matches up. Those results can then be streamed as well as shared on social media.
Another new addition is a feature called Audio Aura, which might tell you “your top music moods are confident and bold” alongside an algorithm-generated colour swatch that represents those moods. If you’re looking for a challenge, Spotify has also introduced a Two Truths and a Lie mini-game that allows you to test how well you know your own listening habits.
Wrapped 2021 also saw Spotify working with more than 170 artists and creators to create short clips of them thanking fans for having them in their Wrapped. These videos will appear if users have a song by one of the participating artists in their “Your Top Songs 2021” or “Your Artists Revealed” playlist.
Unlike previous years, this year’s Spotify Wrapped is only available on the mobile app. Simply tap on the “Your 2021 Wrapped” icon on the home screen to access your Wrapped playlist. If you do not see the message, try updating your app.
