A sneak peek of the gameplay, its new logo and branding will be also revealed at the Niantic Lightship Summit today (24 May) by Pixelynx co-Founder and CEO Inder Phull.
This time, Pixelynx has partnered with creative director Joe Perez at Wørks for its branding and logo design. The artist has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Kanye West, Billie Eilish, Beyoncé, Nike, Jordan, Versace, Louis Vuitton, and Fear of God.
Founded by musicians deadmau5 and Hawtin, and gaming industry veterans Ben Turner, Dean Wilson and Inder Phull, Pixelynx is a metaverse venture that seeks to blur the lines between music, blockchain and gaming. The company is focused on connecting artists, visionaries and startups that are passionate about re-imagining how the music industry evolves through Web 3.0 and the metaverse.
Speaking at the International Music Summit Ibiza on the intersection of Web3 and music, deadmau5 said: “Web3 to me screams liberation from the societal norms that we know, a flag bearer for transparency for artists. I don’t have to be bummed out that a huge tech company is making billions and paying artists a tiny fraction for their music.”
