ICMP Announce New Facility at Tileyard Studios

ICMP has announced the completion of a new facility exclusively for ICMP students at Tileyard Studios…

The largest professional music community in the UK, Tileyard Studios is home to over 70 state of the art music studios and 100 businesses specializing in music, film, television, fashion and creative new tech sectors. Tileyard prides itself on a collective body of creators and thinkers that includes Mark Ronson, Tynchy Stryder, The Prodigy, John Newman, Notting Hill Music, Spitfire Audio and many more.

ICMP students can now enjoy the new “class-leading” recording facility where they will find a spacious, high-spec studio control room and a production studio connected to a well-stocked live room and additional recording spaces. In addition there are sound proofed production booths and three acoustically treated climate controlled writing rooms to complement the main studio, all featuring top of the line equipment.

Furthermore students can take advantage of the sky-lit iMac suite that provides every student with access to an iMac workstation featuring Pro Tools, Logic Pro X and Ableton Live. Each workstation comes equipped with Focusrite Scarlett Solo audio interfaces and Novation Launchkey Mini MIDI keyboards, with 10 of the iMacs also featuring an Ableton Push 2 controller.

Additionally there is also a spacious lecture classroom, mood lighting and “acoustically excellent” rooms designed with education at heart. Students can also access mentoring programmes via Tileyard’s community of industry professionals, which offers a range of support and networking opportunities.
