Multi-talented producer Sharooz Raoofi (AKA Principleasure), founder of Sample Magic, Audiaire and Attack Magazine, has compiled a 1GB pack of samples. The collection is full of analogue synths and drum machines from Principle Pleasure Studios, all of which have been recorded into a Neve 1073 or Focusrite ISA 430 channel strip into Prism Orpheus sound card using Sample Robot.
The instruments featured in the pack include Roland TB-303, TR-808, TR-909, Juno-60, and Jupiter-8, Oberheim OB-8, Sequential Circuits ProOne, ARP Odyssey, Korg MS-20, Yamaha DX7 and more. As each preset is multi-sampled, you can load them into your DAW‘s sampler and start playing real analogue patches.
In a LinkedIn post, Raoofi says: “Working at my LA studio has been a privilege – one that is hugely missed right now with current events. A few years back I multi-sampled all my favourite original synth patches and drumboxes (100+ of them) in the event that if ever I couldn’t get there, I’d have instant access.
I’ve really enjoyed these sounds, they’re my go-to palette. Now feels an ideal time to share them freely”.
