Waves brings Abbey Road Studio 3 acoustics to your headphones
Plug-in recreates mixing environment of the iconic studio in stereo and surround.

Waves Audio and Abbey Road Studios continue their collaboration with a new plug-in that offers precision modelling of the renowned Studio 3 control room.
As Abbey Road’s flagship mix room, Studio 3 has a storied reputation. Not only has it been used by Radiohead, Amy Winehouse, Kanye West, Frank Ocean, Brockhampton and Florence + The Machine, the studio has also overseen contemporary mixes of The Beatles and Pink Floyd.
The plug-in aims to give you a realistic feel of working inside Studio 3. This is achieved by Waves’ special Nx technology, which is said to bring immersive 3D audio to your headphones.
To take full advantage of Waves’ Nx tech, you’ll need to attach the Nx Head Tracker to your headphones. This Bluetooth device syncs with the plug-in to recreate the spatial acoustics of Studio 3 within your headphones, augmenting your headphone mixing experience in the process.
Other cool features offered by Waves’ latest plug-in include three stereo speaker emulations – near-, mid- and far-field – as well as both stereo 5.1 and 7.1 mixing options.
