Waves Audio adds new plans to Flex, its rent-to-own plug-in package

Waves Audio has added Starter and Pro plans to Flex, a monthly rent-to-own subscription that gives you immediate access to the brand’s plug-ins, and full ownership after 24 months.

Previously, Flex only had a $19.99/month plan that lets you pick 13 plug-ins – inclusive of three free ones – from a selection of 85. With the new Starter and Pro packages, you now have three options to choose from. The new plans are detailed below:

• Flex Starter:
  • $9.99 per month
  • Choose five plug-ins and one free plug-in from a selection of 40
• Flex:
  • $19.99 per month
  • Choose 10 plug-ins and three free plug-ins from a selection of 85
• Flex Pro:
  • $29.99 a month
  • Choose 20 plugins and four free plugins from a selection of 120

You’ll be able to choose from Waves’ plug-in catalogue spanning EQs, compressors, effects, mastering tools and much more.

Apart from owning the plug-ins after 24 months, the other differentiator from similar subscription packages is that there’s no minimum commitment, so you can cancel your Flex subscription at any time.
