Software developer, ujam, has released a brand new multi-effects Finisher plug-in for guitar players, that promises “organic, distorted, spicy, colourful, magical and dark textures”.
Packing 50 multi-effects chains and 150 signature sound designer presets, VOODOO provides the power of a rack of audio processors with instant, inspiring results. It features a custom-designed effects matrix for a range of guitar tones, be it electric or acoustic, direct or amped. The plug-in is designed primarily for live guitar playing and virtual guitar instruments, but the brand says it works “phenomenally well” with other instruments like synths and vocals.
Finisher VOODOO’s 40 algorithms give you access to dynamic effects, distortion units, filters and EQs, including multiband capabilities and more to get granular with the sound design. Five macro knobs give you full sonic control. The central Finisher knob drives up the power of the multi-effect quickly, while the Variation knobs adjusts the character of the effec and modulation.
All VOODOO modes are built with ujam’s proprietary Highlighter, which is a combination of low and high pass filters to place your track exactly where it belongs in the mix.
Automation and MIDI support lets you connect pedals and add extra articulation to your performances.
