RØDE has unveiled the PSA1+, the successor to the highly acclaimed PSA1 studio arm which released more than a decade ago in 2010.
In a mix of style and functionality, the PSA1+ comes with fully damped internal springs that ensure a completely silent operation, while the addition of a high-quality neoprene cover around the arm further reduces noise generated by movement. The arm is equipped with rubber contact points that isolate it from knocks, bumps and keyboard clicks, making it ideal for streamers using mechanical keyboards with loud switches.
Another feature of the PSA1+ is the parallelogram spring design that ensures smooth and steady movement, even with very light or heavy microphones. This mechanism keeps microphone placement constant to retain its positioning. With an extended reach and full 360-degree rotation, users can easily position the microphone exactly where it needs to be to get the best recording possible.
The PSA1+ is compatible with any microphone or shock mount that uses a standard thread and weighs between 94g and 1.2kg, including Røde’s NT-USB Mini, PodMic, Procaster, Broadcaster and more.
It also features an integrated cable management system for both XLR and USB cables to keep your setup tidy and camera-ready.
A threaded desk mount and sturdy desk clamp are included, making it a breeze to integrate into any home or professional studio, and the arm comes pre-assembled so you can start using it right away.
Priced at $129, the RØDE PSA1+ is now available for purchase at rode.com. Worldwide shipping is available.
