Synchro Arts is providing temporary licenses to users working at home amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The company has said that these 90-day duplicate licenses are “to ensure all our customers can continue using their Synchro Arts software despite workplaces being closed due to COVID-19”.

Individuals, companies and institutions are all invited to take advantage of this scheme. As these are duplicate licenses, requesters must first own a Synchro Arts product — such as VocALign Pro 4 — in order to qualify.

For individuals, an online form on the company’s website can be filled to claim their temporary license. Once the request has been verified — which should take one business day — users will find the requested product deposited directly into their iLok account.

Companies and educational institutions wishing to request licenses in bulk for their employees or students are also able to do so by contacting Synchro Arts via email.

Synchro Arts joins a growing handful of companies who have offered products and services to users amid the growing concerns of the COVID-19 pandemic. Avid has recently offered a similar scheme to their active Media Composer, Pro Tools and Sibelius users.
