PreSonus aims to bring the power of a large production console to small-format digital mixing with their new flagship StudioLive 64S. Sporting 76 mixing channels, 32 preamps and 43 buses, the console is made for mixing high channel count live sound, installation, mobile recording and the studio.

What’s interesting about the StudioLive 64S is that it features built-in plug effects – up to 526 of them – based on classic hardware, and DAW control.

Like its smaller siblings, the StudioLive 64S offers 128-channel (64×64) USB recording as an interface – which PreSonus says is more than any other mixer – plus multitrack recording to SD card and 128-channel AVB networking.

The PreSonus StudioLive 64S is available now and retails for $4,399.95. Find out more on presonus.com.
