STL Tones teams up with Andy James for Tonality plug-in collection
You can now replicate the Sacred Mother Tongue guitarist’s tone.
STL Tones has expanded its Tonality plug-in range with the Andy James signature collection. Tonality: Andy James is packed with emulations of the amps, pedals and effects favoured by the Sacred Mother Tongue and Fields Of The Nephilim guitarist.
The collection is headlined by three amp emulations – simply named 1, 2 and 3 – based on the models in James’ “dream setup”. These are joined by virtual models of a Tube Screamer-style overdrive stompbox, a preamp routing switch as well as The Revenant. The latter is James’ signature preamp pedal, which, like a tube amp, is designed to produce tones ranging from mild crunch to full-on distortion.
Rounding out the plug-in suite are three effects modules – delay, reverb and lo-fi – intended to help you get closer to the metal guitarist’s tone. As an added bonus, every purchase of the collection will come with three previously unreleased songs composed by James.
