Sennheiser has introduced active noise-cancellation to its affordable CX range of earbuds with the CX Plus True Wireless.
Aside from active noise-cancelling, the CX Plus True Wireless earbuds include Transparent Hearing, which lets in external sounds to help you mind your surroundings.
The CX Plus also promises high-resolution, low latency audio through Bluetooth 5.2 compatibility and support for aptX and aptX Adaptive codecs.
Customisable touch controls can be assigned to take calls, control music playback and access built-in voice assistants. Sennheiser also includes a Smart Pause feature, which automatically pauses the music when users take the earbuds off and resume playback when they are put worn again.
The left and right earbuds can also operate independently; removing an earbud automatically shuts it down to preserve battery life. There is also onboard EQ which you can adjust with a companion Smart Control app.
The compact earbuds are bundled with four sizes of silicone ear adapters, which help to add further passive noise isolation.
The CX Plus true wireless earphones promise 24 hours of playback on a full charge. It also has an IP4 rating for water resistance, which should let you can wear them confidently for a sweaty workout session or rainy run.
The CX Plus True Wireless earbuds come in black or white and will be available on 28 September, priced at £130.
