RØDE has released the AI-Micro, a pocket-sized audio interface for content creators looking for a high-quality portable recording solution.

The ultra-compact, dual-channel interface boasts universal compatibility with smartphones, tablets and computers via its universal USB output. USB-A, USB-C and Lightning cables are provided in the box — simply plug-and-play into your Mac, Windows, iOS or Android devices to get started.

The AI-Micro features two auto-sensing 3.5mm inputs that allow you to record using two mics at the same time. One of the inputs can even be configured as a single stereo TRS input for use with stereo microphones. The inclusion of a 3.5mm headphone output also makes audio monitoring and playback a breeze.

If you’re interested in unlocking advanced features, the AI-Micro is compatible with the entire RØDE app suite — including RØDE Connect (the company’s free podcasting and streaming software for Mac and Windows), RØDE Central (companion app for the acclaimed Wireless Go II) and RØDE Reporter (mobile recording app).

RØDE’s AI-Micro is shipping worldwide now at a price tag of £60 / $70.
