Following the acclaim of previous releases, including the Eris E3.5 and E4.5 Bluetooth studio monitors, PreSonus has launched the newest addition to the Eris family of monitors, the Eris E5 BT Active Media Reference Monitors.

Incorporating 50 watts of Class D power within each speaker, the brand claims that the Eris E5 BTs are some of the most powerful monitors it has released yet.

With flexible analogue and Bluetooth 5.0 wireless inputs, the company says that the E5 BTs provide an even response throughout the range of frequency, separating it from other home audio speakers on the market which run the risk of “hyp[ing] the bass frequency at the expense of others”.

High and low acoustic tuning controls allow you to fine-tune the monitors to your environment. This works as it enables you to take control over the frequency range, varying from bass to treble, to capture sound in the precise way that the artist intended.

Designed with small studios, living rooms and gaming rigs in mind, the PreSonus design aims to capture the attention of beatmakers and home studio producers, incorporating a 5.25-inch woven-glass composite woofer for rich low-end tones and a 1-inch silk-dome tweeter for those crisp high frequencies.

Claiming that the monitors allow for PreSonus to continue “retaining the compact footprint today’s content creators need” in a press release, other features include the combination of quarter-inch TRS balanced inputs, unbalanced RCA inputs and stereo Bluetooth 5.0 input – all of which enables easy connection to an audio interface, gaming system, computer, or Bluetooth-compatible media player.

The first addition to the Eris collection to feature a quarter-inch TRS Sub Out for adding a subwoofer, the monitors also come with a front-mounted headphone jack to allow for private listening and an eighth-inch stereo aux in which accepts signals from non-Bluetooth audio devices.

The PreSonus Eris E5 BT Active Media Monitors are available now for $249. Find out more at PreSonus.com
