DJ tech manufacturer Numark has debuted the new NS4FX: a DJ controller that allows artists to mix tracks, samples, and loops on four decks simultaneously. Plus, an effects section and plenty of connectivity could make this ideal for many DJs.

Designed with event DJs, club jocks and livestreaming mix masters in mind, the NS4FX comes with full audio control over four channels, each of which features high-quality volume faders, three-band EQ with full kills and large high-pass/low-pass filter knobs.

These features, alongside the crossfader assignment switches (which enable each channel to be assigned to side A or side B of the crossfader, or bypass the crossfader altogether), allow for effortless creativity in a variety of live settings.

The six-inch touch-sensitive jogwheels provide precision and control in mixing and scratching. Each jogwheel embeds a vibrant LED display which shows the track position, bpm, pitch range and time.

In addition, the featured loop section with multipliers on each deck grants users quick access and control when it comes to extending a mix or crafting custom transitions. Meanwhile, the interactive effects section includes six quick-launch software effects, triggered using the paddle toggle switches.

Numark says that music lovers are “always treated to an incredible, immersive dancefloor experience” as 24-bit audio is delivered through balanced XLR main outputs. Plus, the addition of an RCA booth output is ideal for sending audio to personal monitor speakers or areas of larger sound systems.

For DJs using microphones, the controller includes two independent quarter-inch microphone inputs with dedicated volume and tone controls. Volume control is easily switchable to an auxiliary option, allowing audio from a smartphone or other audio device to be played through RCA inputs on the back of the controller.

Moreover, the microphone audio is combined with the main music mix when output over USB. This aspect makes the NS4FX ideal for livestreamers as it eliminates the need for additional audio interfaces.

The Numark NS4FX 4 -Channel DJ Controller is available now for £414.99 and comes with Serato DJ Lite software: allowing users to initiate mixing with up to four channels straight away.

The controller is also compatible with other leading DJ software programs such as Virtual DJ and Algorridim djay Pro AI. DJs can also upgrade to a full-feature multi-channel at any time.
