NAMM 2022: iZotope releases Neutron 4 and Music Production Suite 5 Universal Edition for easier and faster mixes
This new dream team sees AI-powered assistive audio technology come into play, giving you a clearer insight into where you can perfect your sound
Neutron 4 provides eight powerful plug-ins that combine forces through AI-powered assistive audio technology. It also offers a Mix Assistant in the new Assistant View, which listens as soon as you play audio, producing a reference starting point and taking you to a handy control centre where you can perfect your sound.
Its new Unmask Module is set to discover and fix masking issues by making space between two competing tracks, balancing bass and kick, or bringing vocals to the forefront. A new Target Library aims to match the tone of your track to a sample or stem with assistive tone-matching technology. And if you’re a fan of the classics, Neutron 4 also brings back a fan-favourite plug-in: Trash.
If you’re looking to go all-in and really beef up your game, the Music Production Suite 5 Universal Edition will give you the new Neutron 4 mixing suite, plus reverbs Stratus 3D and Symphony 3D by Exponential Audio and six new effects plug-ins from Brainworx to the latest generation of the bundle. Users will also receive two major flagship product updates in September at no additional cost.
With 52 plug-ins included at launch, Music Production Suite 5 Universal Edition includes an array of tools and exciting new technology, from creative effects and sonic shaping, to assistive mixing, vocal production, intelligent mastering, repair, and balancing. AI-powered audio assistants are on hand throughout your mix so you can stay in your creative flow.
When it comes to pricing, Neutron 4 is set at an introductory price of $299, with Music Production Suite 5 Universal Edition at $599, so you’ll have to act fast if you want to grab them at their smaller price tag. And if you’re an existing customer, you may be entitled to a loyalty discount – you can check this is your Account section.
