NAMM 2022: Headphone manufacturer Audeze today reveals its latest series of studio headphones, Manny MM-500.
The headphones have been made in conjunction with the recently appointed head of professional products for Audeze and Grammy award-winning mix engineer Manny Marroquin.
Marroquin has worked with the likes of Kanye West, Post Malone, Alicia Keys, Bruno Mars and The Rolling Stones.
The headphones, made for creators and audio professionals, are the first in the upcoming Manny Marroquin Signature series of premium studio-ready headphones made by Audaze.
The Manny MM-500 headphones have been tested at Larrabee Studios, and are “carefully tuned for accuracy across the entire frequency spectrum,” according to a press release.
They are said to have been made with reliability and versatility as the main focus, able to be used extensively on an array of music equipment. The MM-500 also has a low impedance and high sensitivity.
The crisp studio-quality sound in the MM-500 comes from its 90mm planar magnetic driver with other components being made using “premium materials and construction”. The headphones are made with professional studio engineers and producers in mind, offering a brand new chassis design.
“The MM-500’s are as vital in my studio as any other piece of equipment,” Manny Marroquin has said. “Finally I can work on the balance between my 808’s/bass/kicks,” he added.
Audeze is at NAMM festival all weekend, which takes place from 3-5 June 2022. Manny himself will make an appearance at the booth on 3rd and 4th between 12pm and 2pm. Find Audaze at North Hall, Level 1, Booth 14717.
