Loopcloud’s Drum 1.5 is a 16-pad sampler and sequencer that connects to your Loopcloud sound library, allowing you to quickly curate new kits, or randomly generate entirely new ones and stay in the flow of beat-making.
The beat-making tool touts greater integration with your Loopcloud account, allowing you to browse your purchased sounds and other imported samples in the library tab. It also lets you peruse, preview and buy new sound packs in the store tab.
This latest version of the Drum also adds a powerful randomiser function, which lets you quickly swap out a sample for a random one from your library. This can be applied onto a single pad, a selection of pads or the entire drum kit.
Onboard, there’s also a 16-step sequencer that lets you chain up to eight-patterns for longer sequences. Swapping sequences can be done through the UI, controlled via MIDI or randomised for progressive phrases.
