LG’s latest wireless speaker, the XBoom 360 RP4, matches omnidirectional audio with a low-key design that should feel right at home at intimate get-togethers.

The speaker makes use of its conical shape to deliver omnidirectional audio with a maximum of 120-watts of power driving its 5.25-inch woofer and a 2-inch tweeter.

The light show happens at the center of the speaker, of which there are three moods to choose from: Ambient, Nature and Party. You get to further customise each profile through a companion app where you’ll also find EQ settings for tuning the speaker and an optional “DJ effect” function which lets you mix in samples and scratching – you know, for some extra flair.

The portable speaker also features a 29Wh battery good for 10 hours of playback on a full charge. It connects to your listening device of choice through either aux-in, USB or Bluetooth. And if the party extends to another room, you can also connect another unit with wireless party link.

The LG XBoom 360 RP4 is available now and costs $400. It comes in burgundy, beige, black or green.
