Dutch hi-fi brand Lenco has announced the new LS-55 turntable, which allows users to digitise their vinyl collection into mp3 format on a USB stick.

The latest from Lenco, which celebrated its 75th anniversary this year, is a belt-driven 33/45 RPM speed turntable with an auto-stop system and built-in speakers. The LS-55 comes with an adjustable counterweight, and boasts a stylish wooden design with a built-in dust cover to prevent unwanted dust and debris from affecting the vinyl listening experience.

The LS-55 also features an onboard stereo amplifier with a passive radiator for better bass effect, pushing out 2 x 5 watts for a crisp and clear listening experience. With an integrated RCA line-level output for compatibility with most hi-fi setups and several input options such as AUX, as well a wireless Bluetooth connection to any portable audio device, the LS-55 covers all bases for the modern listener. For users who are keen to digitally preserve the contents of their delicate vinyl collection, the built-in USB mp3 encoder will prove useful.

The Lenco LS-55 retails at £129.99 / €135, and can be purchased from Lenco’s website.
