Get more out of your Korg MS-20 Mini with new overlays from Oversynth
These ‘skins’ can help unlock the synth’s potential.

Oversynth’s “Primary Colors” front panel overlay
Oversynth has released a variety of new overlays for Korg’s hugely popular MS-20 Mini synth. The overlays, which are detachable front panel skins, boast modern design elements intended to help you get more out of your MS-20 Mini.
For a start, the overlays feature high contrast graphics and large fonts – ideal for working in low-light conditions. You’ll also be able to map out the synth’s perimeters more easily with colour-coded synthesis sections as well as coloured jack rings (available only for selected designs). Another neat feature is the clear labelling of inputs and outputs, which come in white text on background and black text on white background respectively.
In addition to these design elements, the overlays are also intended to be rugged – they’re manufactured from chemical-resistant synthetic paper that is both highly durable and waterproof, claim Oversynth.
Installation of the overlays is straightforward. Simply remove all screws and knobs on the front panel, fit the overlay into the empty space and press it down securely. Finally, re-attach the knobs and screws, and these will keep the overlay in place so there ’s no need for adhesives that may otherwise damage the MS-20 Mini.
Each MS-20 Mini overlay retails at $42. More info at oversynth.com.
