Focusrite’s Hitmaker Expansion returns as a bundle worth over $1,300
Scarlett, Clarett+, Clarett USB and Red users now have access to seriously impressive software

Audio equipment manufacturer Focusrite has announced the return of its “bigger than ever” Hitmaker Expansion bundle, promising a collection of software worth over $1,300.
New and existing owners of 3rd Gen Scarlett, Clarett+, Clarett USB and Red audio interfaces can access professional-grade software to enhance their production workflow. This includes Softube’s Marshall Silver Jubilee 2555, Antares’ Auto-Tune Access, Brainworx’s bx_oberhausen, and XLN Addictive Keys and XLN Addictive Drums 2: Studio Rock Kit.
For mixing and mastering, Focusrite has you covered with Relab LX480 Essentials, Focusrite Red 2 & 3 Plug-in Suites, Brainworx bx_console Focusrite SC and bx_masterdesk.
The brand says these tools will enable you to produce sleek-sounding vocals, powerful guitars, luscious keys and huge drums.
Focusrite’s Hitmaker Expansion bundle comes right out of the box with all Scarlett (3rd Gen), Clarett+, Clarett USB and Red interfaces registered after 1 October 2021. Qualifying Focusrite customers should see it in their accounts for free.
This means that you can get your hands on the bundle for as little as £110, starting with the Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen.
In our review of the 3rd Gen Scarlett range, we said: “As the quality of the Scarlett range has now clearly taken a step up – in terms of the preamps, the dynamic range and lower latency – it now appears to sit closer to the more expensive Clarett range with similar specs but using USB…It certainly succeeds where it should. Better quality, improved specs and not much of a shift in price. It’s difficult to see Focusrite losing that ‘best selling interface’ label any time soon.”
