Envision Sound launches Kickstarter for Strata controller
The Ableton Live-compatible controller was announced two years ago.
Envision Sound has launched a Kickstarter campaign for Strata, a feature-rich controller designed as a companion to Ableton Live, which was first announced two years ago.
Strata is touted to offer “a new way to play in Ableton Live”. And judging by the device’s raft of knobs and buttons, it could very well live up to its billing. Images of Strata’s prototype show 32 knobs, 96 function pads and 16 ‘playing’ pads.
Strata’s Kickstarter campaign is live as of October 1 2019. A fully-featured GUI app version of Strata’s control system is available for download as a demo, so you can try before you buy. Envision are offering various discounts and benefits for contributors based on their donations, which can all be viewed on their Kickstarter page.
