Arturia aims to arm budding music-makers with a sleek audio interface that’s easy to use, with a collection of software to get them creating right out of the box. The MiniFuse interfaces come in three sizes and promise “class-leading sound”.

The MiniFuse 1 has one input and two outputs, the MiniFuse 2 offers two inputs and two outputs and the MiniFuse 4 offers four inputs and four outputs.

Combo XLR/quarter-inch inputs are matched with an instrument switch to bring signals up to line level. There’s also stereo metering, phantom power, direct monitoring and headphone outputs with independent volume controls.

The interfaces feature a 110dB dynamic range and a -129dB equivalent input noise, which Arturia says delivers “unmatched” sound clarity and dynamics. Aside from that, the interfaces boast a compact design with backlit controls and a USB hub in the back to accommodate other gear.

Bundled software also covers a fair bit of ground from in-the-box guitar recording to auto-tuned rap vocals.

First up, there’s a copy of Ableton Live Lite which hit version 11 this year. Meanwhile, Arturia’s Analog Lab Intro features 500 presets from the brand’s V Collection instruments and Arturia FX lets you add chorus, reverbs and more.

Also bundled with each interface is Native Instruments’ Guitar Rig 6 LE, along with three-month subscriptions to both Antares Auto-Tune Unlimited and sample library service Splice.

According to Arturia founder Frederic Brun in a press release, the interfaces represent the brand’s “vision of an affordable audio companion.”

“Following in the footsteps of AudioFuse, we knew we would need to deliver more affordable audio interfaces, a solution that would open up audio creation to everyone,” Brun said. “That solution is MiniFuse”.

The MiniFuse 1 and 2 will be available in Black in mid-October; White finished models will launch in November and the MiniFuse 4 will be sold in 2022. Prices have yet to be confirmed, but each will include a five-year warranty.
