Registration opens for NAMM’s virtual Believe In Music Week
The trade show’s virtual edition kicks off 18 January.
NAMM’s Believe In Music Week, a virtual edition of the annual trade show, is set to kick off on 18 January. The weeklong online event replaces this year’s NAMM Show, which was called off due to COVID-19 concerns.
Believe In Music will host an interactive marketplace where brands can showcase their latest products to global attendees. It also features networking via AI matchmaking to connect buyers and sellers from around the world.
Meanwhile, BelieveInMusic.tv, a new channel launched with the event, will broadcast hours of professional educational content and artist performances.
In a statement on the weeklong affair, Joe Lamond, president and CEO of NAMM, shared his hopes that the virtual trade show will bring music industry players together.
“Believe In Music week will be a critical step for our industry to help us prepare for the new year and new opportunities,” he said. “If there’s any one common vision, it’s that as a global community, we believe in music.”
“We believe in the future of music and in the future of our industry, and in this moment, we will unite and support music makers around the world.”
NAMM’s Believe In Music week takes place from 18-22 January.
