Pitch Monster GUI 1400x1050

‘Pitch Monster’ isn’t a name to be taken lightly. The plug-in boasts six octaves of operation, eight voices of polyphony and a whopping 64 voices with unison control. Pitch Monster features granular, formant and vocoder engines, with its grains spreadable over pitch and time. As well as MIDI control, the pitch plug-in can store chord structures, with hundreds of presets to choose from, too.

Chord Mode lets you select up to eight notes on the keyboard to create a chord. You can use these to harmonise, or add lower and higher tones to a sound. Chords can be saved and recalled live, which could make it a great tool for performance.

Formant Mode can be applied to vocals or any clean, monophonic audio. By dissecting the human voice and understanding it as a series of pulses from the vocal cords, resonating in the chambers of the neck and head, this mode will allow you to control the speed of pulses, and the size of the neck and head independently.

The GUI has many of the features presented as adjustable dials and buttons to select between modes. A filter is featured which can be low-pass or hi-pass to shape sound to your liking. The mix knob will let you be as subtle or extreme as you desire with processing and manipulation.
