Owners of the compact Korg Volca may be pleased to learn that Bastl Instruments has introduced Dude, a tiny mixer designed for pocket-sized synths…
It was shown off recently at Superbooth17 in Berlin and certainly promises to be impressive. Powered by four AA batteries, Dude features five channels and whilst it’s only monophonic, we’re told by Bastl that it can drive your headphones, which makes it ideal for small portable rigs or submixing on stage.
Additionally, you’ll find mute switches as well as the ability to use the mixer to add up to 20db of gain to each channel. There’s also the possibility to feed the output back through the input to create crazy feedback and distortion.
Pricing and Availability:
Dude will start shipping in June and is available to pre-order from the Bastl store here for €75, where you can also find further information.
Hear what it’s capable of in JustMusic’s video below.
