Antares and Antelope team up to create Auto-Tune Synergy
Designed for low-latency, CPU-free performance.
Antares, creators of the iconic Auto-Tune software that has been around for over two decades, has teamed up with Antelope Audio. The brands have rolled out Auto-Tune Synergy for Antelope’s signal processing platform, aiming to offer the same core functionality of Auto-Tune with extremely low-latency.
Auto-Tune Synergy is capable of realtime pitch correction and vocal effects, meaning it can be used on stage or in the studio. Retune Speed, Humanize and Flex-Tune allow “everything from transparent pitch correction to the ‘Auto-Tune Effect’ found on countless hits”, according to the company. Classic mode enables the ‘Auto-Tune 5 sound’, which is the iconic sound that made the Auto-Tune Effect famous in pop recordings.
The custom-designed plug-in is compatible with all of Antelope Audio’s Edge & Verge microphones and Synergy Core devices. It also works alongside Antares’ Auto-Key plug-in, which automatically detects the key and scale of the audio signal, sending that information to Auto-Tune Synergy.
