ADAM Audio Women In Music

Over the last six weeks, ADAM Audio teamed up with an impressive array of female music industry professionals, from revered producers and engineers to iconic artists and influential industry executives in Women In Music: From Start To Finish. The six-part series took budding producers on a journey of creating a track, mixing and mastering it, getting it in the hands of listeners and then learning to navigate the industry off the back of its success.

The first episode sees Sarah Spencer and Anna Lakatos walk through the process of creating a track, with tips on getting the best out of your writing process and translating ideas into a full track. In the second session, Jane Arnison breaks down the basics of mixing a complete song, followed by mastering engineer Katie Tavini giving you tips on mastering your track in the third session.

Five superstar music business executives give you the skinny on A&R and management in session four, while session five focuses on marketing and social media with a panel of four artists and experienced executives. The series is rounded off with a live interview with Wendy & Lisa of Prince’s The Revolution, esteemed vocal producer Lachi and the talented Laura Escudé. The guests in this session spoke about the music industry as a whole and how to navigate it as a female professional.

ADAM Audio’s Women In Music: From Start To Finish series will remain on YouTube for free as a valuable resource for all levels of artists and professionals.
