Johnny Marr (b. 1963) is an English rock musician best known for his work as guitarist with The Smiths (1982-87). He has since worked with a variety of bands and solo, spanning indie rock, alternative, electronica, and classical genres. He's signed to New Voodoo/Warner Records and released his latest album Call The Comet in 2018. Key albums include The Smiths' The Queen Is Dead (1986) and Johnny Marr's The Messenger (2013). He has won multiple awards, including the NME Godlike Genius Award in 2013.
