Jean-Michel Jarre (b. 1948) is an electronic music pioneer, composer, and producer. His music spans genres such as ambient, new-age, and progressive electronic. He is signed to Sony Music, and his best known albums include Oxygene (1976), Equinoxe (1978) and Rendez-Vous (1986). His most recent album is Electronica 2: The Heart of Noise (2016). He has won multiple Grammy Awards and was made an Officer of the Legion of Honour in 2003.
