Amy Winehouse (born 1983, died 2011) was an iconic Grammy-winning British soul/jazz icon, best known for her soulful, expressive contralto vocals and 2006 album, ‘Back to Black’. She was a regular collaborator with producer Mark Ronson, who has described her as his “musical soulmate”.
